Something I've been working on for a while now. This is the third and final version and I'm finally happy with how it turned out. The original is huge, 24" by 26". Much thanks to my friend Newman [link] for the background. It is one of his photographs which I changed in color and then painted over using a natural brush and the smudge tool (again with a natural brush) in PS. The lightning and everything else were added as different layers.
man this is so great <3 (sigh).....
Hmm! Pretty cool! Definitely sort of a classic dragon design for both, and a classic scene, but very striking how it's put here. I love the contrast between the colors here. The bright flames put to the dark shadows they cast. Both realistic and very visually appealing. And all the damage and injury on the dragons is an excellent touch, and it really tells a story: It's clear who's winning this fight.
This one is particularly well detailed and the poses are awesome! You're very talented! ♥
This is just BREATH TAKING, it is soooo beautiful! And has a very epic feeling to it, I could almost feel the heat and strength to it, as well as hearing the thunder growling there.
That is damn good.
Amazing!! I really like the fire Nice work!
Oh hells! That's the end of that! Love the way you did the texture of the wings, especially where the lightning is shining through. Very leathery. Convincing fire effects, too.
Thanks! The fire was a pain. But hey, once u figure out how to do something, it's much easier the next time.
Holy moly that is epic!
That is a really great pic... I like the fire pretty much... poor dragon though
That is Awesome!!! I love dragons like these!
dig the membranes!
I think you emptied the whole bottle of awesome sauce on this!
very cool looking. I love how the wings of the dragons have a transparency to them. and the fire is really cool looking.
Excellent, really well done - action and lighting. Great work with the fire and positiong of the dragons.
it looks awesome! y love the little fire balls jumping for the blast.
wow epic win!
this picture gives off a lot of power :3 i like the colors, the wing of the dragon below and of course i like the dragons themselves.
Thanks, I like putting strong colors in my work. Sometimes I try not to but they always end up looking like that. I guess it's just a thing with me.
The wing membranes look cool, very organic
Thanks buddy and thanks for the photo!
Friggin' sweet,man! Keep it up!
